Glass Heart with Baby Feet

This necklace is 17" long with a 1 3/4" extension chain. The necklace itself is make of 3 light pink cotton cords and 1 sheer ribbon and the lobster claw clasp is silver plated. This amazing glass heart pendant was hand made by a favored local artist. It is 3/4" x 3/4" and 3/16" thick. The heart is made up of beautiful purples, greens and golds and to top it all off there are 2 clear baby feet on the top! Pictures really don't do it justice!

This necklace is so cool! I'm really proud of it. I have to say, the pictures do not do it justice. I need to take better ones, but even then I don't think the true beauty would shine though. Each of the connectors incases a tiny peice of a repursosed book page or a small patch of vintage fabric. All the beads are vintage, reused or upcycled. I love taking old jewelry apart and creating something new and updated.

Check it out! Today we are looking at the WONDERFUL items from Made With Love. This is the newest addition to her wedding favor & place card collection.  Love the baby blue colors, the summery, cottagey feel...and, of course, the name: The Mary Kate. Lets show her some love today <3

Wedding Place Card Favor - The Mary Kate (25)

These tiny wee apothecary bottles serve as a unique wedding or party "piece" as they are favor and place card in one. I made these, among many other things, for my lovely outdoor, farm & vineyard wedding last fall and would love, love, love to make them again for another blushing bride to be! 

These delicate bottles, when filled with itsy bitsy, purty flowers, look so romantic, so sweet...so personal (my mother-in-law kindly filled my vases the day before our wedding and stored them in her fridge). The attached name tag is small in size to match the bottle's proportions and is constructed completely by hand using only the finest materials - heavy cardstock, Lotka handmade paper, 100% cotton bookbinding tiwne and metal eyelets. The guest's name is lovingly typed on my vintage typewriter and a corresponding table number is also written on the back of each tag.

When placed at each seat of a table, the flowery bottles look gorgeous together (and also create additional flower decoration)! These favors are sure to be a hit and not forgotten; almost in entirety, friends and family took their petite vases home from our wedding, much like tiny treasures...and have since displayed them, enjoyed them and reused them (my intent exactly).

They are especially perfect for an outdoor, natural style, rustic, vintagey wedding.
